Welcome to Bar Tourist dal 1965, nestled in the charming streets of Sant'Agnello, Italy. This delightful café, framed by the scenic beauty of Corso Italia, has been a beloved local spot since its inception in 1965. It isn’t just a café; it’s a sweet slice of Italian life, where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the enchanting scent of homemade pastries and gelato.

As soon as you step inside, you'll be greeted by the warm smiles of a family dedicated to preserving the essence of Italian hospitality. The star of the show is, undoubtedly, the delightful 'Nonna' who whips up each cup of coffee and charmingly serves pastries with genuine care and love. You’ll quickly feel like part of the family in this cozy, inviting environment as you savor each delicate bite of their delectable offerings.

Guests rave about the exceptional coffee – robust, flavorful, and made to perfection – making it a perfect start to your day. Pair a creamy cappuccino with one of their stunning pastries; every bite of their homemade cannoli is a testament to their culinary prowess. And let’s not forget about the pistachio pastries, which are simply scrumptious and cherished by returning visitors. As customer Sarah Colandro beautifully puts it, this little sweet shop is “run by the same lovely lady since the 1960s,” emphasizing the heart and soul embedded in every dish.

If you find yourself in the bustling Sant'Agnello area, don’t miss out on the enchanting terrace upstairs, where you can bask in the sun while enjoying a perfectly frothy latte or an irresistible slice of cake – the views and ambiance are simply unbeatable. As customer Natasha Ford notes, it’s “lovely” and perfect for soaking in the local atmosphere.

The café's reviews consistently reflect the exceptional service and friendly demeanor of the staff. Whether it’s the “fantastic coffee” or the “excellent drinks” mentioned by patrons like Stuart Taggart, you can count on a delightful experience with each visit. The family-run vibe adds a personal touch that is often hard to find in today’s fast-paced world.

Bar Tourist dal 1965 is more than just a café; it’s a celebration of local flavors and traditions, a sanctuary where every cup is crafted with history and care. So, whether you're looking to indulge in gelato, enjoy a cozy breakfast, or simply savor a moment of peace with a coffee in hand, Bar Tourist is the perfect stop on your Italian adventure. Don’t just take my word for it; experience the warmth and sweetness for yourself!

Loved the guys who own this place. Just as it should be in a Italy Popular local cafe serving lovely cakes, coffee and drinks. Great service and very friendly. My friends adored the homemade gelato and had 3 each most days. Thanks very much

Sweet little sweet shop run by the same lovely lady since the 1960's. We popped in during a chilly Vespa ride along the coast for hot tea and coffee and some scrumptious pistachio pastries.

Great service, fantastic coffee, and delicious pastries. We came here for breakfast and had a cannoli which was good, and cappuccino was phenomenal. I normally take sugar in my coffee but didn’t find a need for it because it was so tasty. Looks like it is family run, with a “nonna” making all the coffees to order herself in the front. Great vibes.

Lovely cafe, friendly staff and amazing lattes and croissants. Definitely sit upstairs on the terrace, plenty of sun umbrellas and a nice view!

This is a nice little café just on the main road. It’s great little place to sit with a coffee and watch the world manically drive by in true Italian style! They sell various genuine Italian cakes and pastry’s, gelato, coffee, soft drinks espresso and alcohol. The cakes looked amazing and tasted even better. The initial staff member did not speak English, but they went into the back and found a gentleman who did and he took our order. It was a pleasant experience and was quite busy with locals and not just tourists which created a nice atmosphere and everyone was very warm and welcoming.

What a stunning little cafe that has been in service since 1965, family ran and at the head of the team is a fantastic sweet beautiful Nonna that we love to see each time we visit as she treats us like family. Excellent drinks and stunning pastries & gelato. Definitely pop in to this place if you visiting the Sorrento area ????????
